2nd Year Design (Communications): Packaging Project

Some older work we didn’t get to show you: year two students on the Level 7 programme designed this packaging from a brief devised by their Marketing lecturer and ourselves to launch a new Dutch product on the Irish market for the first time.

It’s a pourable custard that carries the name ‘Vla’ in Holland, but has no direct translation into English, and no comparable product exists on the Irish market either.

Their job was to re-name the product, develop the brand identity and design the new packaging. There’s two more we’ll add to the list in the next couple of days to show the full range of solutions the students delivered.
